Wild Heart Floral Website Redesign
Wild Heart Floral is the first website I am building for a client using Squarespace. While the site is not yet completed, most of the work has already been done.
I worked with my client to revamp a solid design stylesheet and implemented those elements into the site. I created a new home page, services page. photo galleries, about me page, contact form, and social media plugins. I used the Custom CSS option on the Squarespace builder to implement specific effects onto the site and install the fonts my client wanted to use.
In addition to this, I worked with my client to organize a photoshoot for an upgraded portfolio for the site. I also familiarized myself with the industry that my client is involved in order to make the most compelling and competitive website for her.
Wild Heart Floral Graphics & Branding
When I started working with WHF, the owner only had the logo with one vector image of the illustrated flower (created by the talented Jill Unrau). I was able to take the logo and created several versions of it to fit different social media images and print advertising. I also worked with Wild Heart Floral’s owner, Kaylie to create an inspiration board for the aesthetic she wanted to pursue with WHF.
Based on the aesthetic and the images found, I created a color theme and chose fonts that would fit. I was able to use these colors to work on several different icons. In addition to this, I illustrated a pattern that could be used by the business for marketing materials.
